I couldn't really put in links without including alcoholics anonymous. I know they are not for everyone, but I have learned a lot from them and from their website and would urge everyone to at least take a look.
I found this site a few months ago, it recommends herbal remedies, light exercise and hypnotherapy to achieve moderation or abstention. Feel free to go and check it out for support and advice from the members.
